Crownless

  1. even you posted this poem ages ago, it still deserve a comment. this poem seems like your crowning glory ironically crownless. even if you don’t post anything hereafter ( i dearly hope to see more from you btw) this poem would define what you stood for, it captures it all like a magnum opus. the pain the betrayal and your anti war stance all in it’s glory.
    i’ll not try to interpret this one coz each time i read it, i got different feelings. sometimes dark and sometimes it was a feeling of redemption. maybe love is above war but there had been instances where love was suppressed by war, maybe it’s the code of war which requires ultimate obedience to the cause than one’s own yearn for love and benevolence.
    really would love to see more by u, don’t let the fire of inspiration go undone. i myself started reading my old poems for inspiration, think it’s time to get back to work lol
